Rich Sharp
Rich is Co-founder and Director of Engineering at Spring, and until recently was the Lead Software Architect for the Natural Capital Project at Stanford. He has developed and maintains several open-source scientific software platforms including InVEST, the flagship ecosystem services modeling tool, PyGeoprocessing, a high performance geoprocessing pipeline, TaskGraph, a parallel programming platform, and Ecoshard, a data platform used for digital scientific reproducibility. He was formerly a professor of Computer Science at St. Lawrence University and earned his PhD in Computer Science at The Ohio State University.
