Scripting for Scientists
No piece of software can answer every question that a scientist might have. Spring’s approach to supporting science is to support a core set of common functions that are easy to combine together to solve unique problems. All of Spring’s projects involve some custom software built with its core libraries.
Ecoshard
Ecoshard was designed to solve the confusion surrounding hard-coded input data in informal scientific scripts. Later it was expanded to support a platform of data to a library to assist in the indexing, publishing, fetching, and high level processing of spatial data. Today EcoShard is at the core of SPRING’s reproducible scientific software pipelines.
